The Vegan Market in Leeds

Earlier this year my friend, Emma Addison Photography, told me there had been a load of seaweed and rubbish along with marine animals that had been washed up on our Bridlington beach, so we decided to head down with some trash pickers and a few bags to see what we could do and WOW, I’ve never seen quite so much seaweed on our beach before! But what was even more mind boggling was how much fishing rope, tackle, clothes, plastic bags, tyres and more washed up with it! It was very humbling to see so many people down there with their own bags trying to help however they could too. Well done to the folks in the tractor who had collected a mound of tyres and to everyone else’s efforts we saw (from a distance) too. We saw at least 50 bags already piled up!
